Position Title: SAP Source to Pay (STP) Lead
Location: Saint Louis, MO
Technical and Functional Skills Required:
The ideal candidate will have comprehensive expertise across the end-to-end Source to Pay (STP) lifecycle, with advanced proficiency in SAP Materials Management (MM), specifically in Purchase Order Management, Receiving, Payment Processing, and Vendor Management. Additional qualifications include:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage SAP STP functionalities as they relate to core business processes.
- Strong understanding of industry-specific KPIs and how to leverage S/4HANA capabilities to drive business performance.
- Hands-on knowledge of key configurations and features within S/4HANA-based STP structures.
- Deep understanding of SAP MM module functionality and integration with other S/4HANA modules.
- Experience with the SAP Ariba product suite and integration with the S/4HANA ERP platform.
- Familiarity with cross-functional business process integration.
- Prior experience in the Crop Science or Manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, build, testing, and deployment of updated or new business processes enabled by SAP S/4HANA solutions.
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and guide discussions aligned with project objectives and timelines.
- Provide best-in-class business process solutions that align with client priorities and leverage leading industry practices.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), assist users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and conduct training for key users.
- Contribute to overall project planning and delivery, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and quality standards.
- Develop detailed implementation schedules and lead system deployment planning and execution efforts.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with IT and business partners to support project success and long-term strategic goals.
Managerial and Leadership Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project milestones and activities, ensuring timely progress and delivery that aligns with client expectations.
- Manage resource allocation and perform capacity planning across the team.
- Provide regular status reports including project metrics, risks, and issues, while overseeing deliverables to completion and sign-off.
- Lead small, cross-functional teams on transformational initiatives, business process improvements, or ERP implementations.
- Conduct business workshops (e.g., requirements gathering, solution architecture) with client stakeholders and business leaders.
- Collaborate with end-users and client staff to define business and functional requirements within the ERP framework.
- Produce high-quality documentation, including functional specifications, test scripts, and stakeholder presentations.
- Apply technical expertise across areas such as technology architecture, business modeling, blueprinting, data analysis, integration planning, and enablement.
- Configure SAP solutions to meet evolving business needs and functional specifications.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts and client team members, ensuring alignment with project goals and delivery standards.
