The Sales Manager will build, lead, and develop a team of the right people to meet and exceed client expectations. The Sales Manager will set an example for the team and be an enthusiastic coach, an excellent recruiter, and hold the team accountable for following company sales policies and practices. What you will do:
- Meet or exceed sales metrics.
- Understand, interpret, and regularly report sales performances to the leadership team.
- Provide recommendations and insight for sales offerings to maximize sales performance.
- Cultivate and continually motivate a best-in-class sales team.
- Provide one-on-one training to the sales team members.
- Ensure sales representatives have appropriate training and resources.
- Refine and uphold the systemized quoting process.
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Periodically run sales calls to maintain skills, stay current on customer trends, and understand the overall effectiveness of sales process.
What you have:
- An undergraduate degree in Business Administration or related field, or commensurate experience.
- 7-10 years of sales experience, sales leadership experience is preferred.
- Experience within the residential home services/building/construction is preferred.
- A track record of achieving growth momentum in a sales environment.
- Proven record of successful client relationship building experience.
- Demonstrated success in developing and leading a business sales strategy.
- Experience in growing and training a successful and dynamic sales team.
- Demonstrated negotiation, sales, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Microsoft Suite
