Financial Analyst I – FP&A

Purpose Brands, the parent company of Orangetheory, Anytime Fitness, Waxing the City, The Bar Method, Basecamp Fitness, and Stronger U is seeking a Financial Analyst I – FP&A to join its team. Job Summary

As a member of the FP&A team, the Financial Analyst (FA) will play a key role in financial planning, forecasting and analysis for the business. The FA provides sharp, proactive and timely insights which drive business decisions and support the success of the company. Responsibilities include the capacity to work independently and organize numerous recurring reporting obligations of varying frequency. Maintaining existing financial models, support in building new models, tracking product performance, executing variance analysis and other recurring reporting. This role requires a hands-on, creative professional with outstanding technical, analytical and communication skills. This role will require collaboration across multiple departments and brands to uncover insights and provide visibility to stakeholders.

PURPOSE / IMPACT (Duties & Essential Functions)

• Provide financial support to business partners across all Purpose Brands initiatives
• Generate various monthly financial reports with accuracy
• Assist in the preparation of strategic planning, annual budget, and forecast updates
• Build financial reporting using NetSuite, Management Reporter, Great Plains & PowerBI tools
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting to departmental and executive leadership team
• Leverage key work partners to create automated, flexible reporting
• Promote the efficiency, accurate, and consistent reporting
• Develop and update meaningful metrics and reporting tools that facilitate decision-making
  
  

Qualifications / Experience

• 0-2 years of experience in Accounting, Finance or related field (internship experience applicable)
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to support financial modeling
• Possess business modeling acumen and ability to learn necessary financial systems
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously
• Ability to work independently
• Independently organize numerous recurring reporting obligations of varying frequency
• Ability to work in an organized, detailed manner under tight deadlines
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous familiarity with an ERP system (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP)
• Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, among others)

SALARY RANGE: $55,000-$63,000 annually
