Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our accounting team and help our Business to Business Division ("PB PRO") with accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the timely processing of invoices. This position requires a customer service mindset, basic understanding of accounts payable and a strong work ethic. This division is growing quickly and you'll be on the front end of our expansion!
Duties
- Monitor accounts for overdue payments and follow up as necessary.
- Process and record incoming payments accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Send weekly collection status on all accounts including the need for leadership involvement to accelerate and/or capture payments due.
- Help reconcile certain Accounts Payable items, although not major, for the division - including company credit card accounts.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports by providing account analysis.
- Utilize financial software, such as Quickbooks, for data entry and reporting.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve billing processes and resolve discrepancies.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience in accounting or financial services is preferred.
- Good understanding of debits and credits, account reconciliation, and account analysis.
- Proficency in Quickbooks preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
