Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development principles and the ability to implement effective behavior management strategies.
Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that promote physical, emotional, and social development in preschool-aged children.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Utilize various teaching methods, including Montessori techniques, to cater to the diverse learning styles of children.
- Monitor children's progress and provide early intervention when necessary to support their individual needs.
- Engage in effective behavior management practices to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
- Organize physical education activities that promote health and wellness among students.
- Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and any incidents that may occur during the day.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental stages of children.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques to effectively guide children's behavior.
- Experience in teaching physical education or organizing physical activities for young children is a plus.
- A background in Montessori education or early intervention strategies is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to fostering their growth in a supportive environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
