The Role
Join our dynamic team as a Supply Chain Process Excellence Lead, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving process improvements and automation within the supply planning domain. As a change agent, you'll focus on reducing manual work activities and enhancing visibility to the supply plan and service risks. Leverage your expertise to recommend improvements in supply chain metrics and performance standards, drawing on industry knowledge and best practices. Take the lead in representing supply planning for various initiatives such as new item introductions, transitions, and product discontinuance. Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including operations, finished goods planning, materials planning, brand/marketing, and procurement, to ensure realistic and achievable supply and capacity plans. Additionally, as a mentor and leader, provide guidance and training to planners to enhance their skills and effectiveness. $68,000 - $113,200
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. What You Will Do: .
- Be a lead and change agent in driving process improvements and automation for supply planning process and tools to reduce manual work activity and increase visibility to the supply plan and service risks.
- Support the identification, development and implementation of appropriate supply chain sops designed to improve upstream and downstream inventory, production, and replenishment management processes.
- Lead and/or support trouble-shooting and problem resolution for planning issues impacting service.
- Identify and develop reporting to aid in supply chain planning and purchasing execution activities.
- Recommend improvements to supply chain metrics and performance standards using industry knowledge, analytics, and best business practices.
- Represent and lead supply planning for new item introductions, transitions, product discontinuance, and disposition of slow moving and unproductive inventories.
- Build strong relationships and partnerships with operations, finished goods planning, materials planning, brand/marketing, and procurement teams to ensure supply and capacity plans are realistic and achievable while optimizing service and inventory.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and functional training and guidance to planners to increase their skill set and effectiveness.

- Advanced Proficiency in manufacturing MRP and distribution DRP systems and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively engage and lead others as necessary to resolve issues.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with a high commitment to meeting schedules.
- Effective communication skills with ability to communicate at the appropriate level of detail at various levels within the organization and with suppliers.
- Detail oriented with high attention to accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel – Intermediate to Advanced, PowerPoint, Word) required.
- Ability to design, build, and deploy reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions on daily tactical tasks and support strategic initiatives with high complexity and business impact.
- Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
- Bachelor's Degree in business discipline
- APICS Certification desired
- 5-10 years experience in supply chain planning role within a manufacturing and distribution environment, including working with contract manufacturers and finished goods suppliers. Consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience desirable.
- Intermediate/Advanced Proficiency in manufacturing MRP and distribution DRP systems and processes. Implementation experience desired.
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements, with the ability to effectively engage others as necessary to drive change and resolution on issues.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills with ability to communicate at the appropriate level of detail at various levels within the organization and with suppliers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel – Intermediate to Advanced, PowerPoint, Word) required.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions on daily tactical tasks and strategic initiatives of high complexity and business impact, and to work in teams representing the supply chain POV.
