Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Coach to join our team. The Behavior Coach will work closely with children, teens, and young adults requiring behavioral health support, particularly those with ADHD and/or autism spectrum disorder, to implement behavioral therapy techniques and strategies. The Behavior Coach will also be responsible for teaching executive function for clients in middle and high school.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate therapeutic groups as per the direction of the employer
- Facilitate 1:1 executive function coaching and social behavior coaching as per the direction of the employer.
- Assist with set-up and clean-up of groups in a timely manner.
- Help to plan and prep therapeutic activities to support client goals.
- Assist with organization of materials and equipment.
- Support clients through supervision, facilitation, prompting, modeling, etc. as is requested by the employer.
- Ensure clients’ confidentiality, dignity, and safety at all times.
- Provide parent feedback at the conclusion of sessions.
Requirements
- Experience in behavioral health or related field
- Understanding of applied behavior analysis methods
- Ability to work effectively with individuals on the autism spectrum
- Strong patient care skills and empathy
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 8 per week
