What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territory Sales Manager position at Pursuit?
Our client, a fast growing medical device startup, has launched an innovative device that provides real-time kidney urine data using proprietary AI — offering invaluable insights directly within the EMR. With a recent FDA exemption and a major focus on reducing acute kidney injuries (AKI), hospitals will soon rely heavily on these insights.
They are looking to bring on a Territory Sales Manager for a true hunter to join a ground-floor opportunity in the medical device space!
What You’ll Do:
- Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting to closing.
- Drive growth through outbound hunting with some inbound leads.
- Call on ICU divisions within hospitals.
- Focus on setting trials — commissions are earned based on trial success, not just deal closure.

Who We’re Looking For:
- 3-5 years of sales experience (Medical Sales preferred)
- Experience selling into hospitals — ICU, Ambulatory, or OR experience is ideal.
- Full sales cycle ownership and proven hunting ability.
- Resilient, driven, and competitive — You’re hungry to win.
- Strong conversational skills and ability to lead discussions.
Location:
📍 Ideally based in Florida or anywhere along the Gulf Coast (TX, LA, MS, AL, GA) --> You will be on the road 50% covering a territory from Texas to Florida.
