We are a dedicated rural health practice, Family Medicine of Cloverdale, seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
• Rooming patients for a family medicine provider.
• Assisting with in-office procedures.
• Collecting vitals, weight, and pertinent information
• Completing medication reconciliation.
• Ordering any testing or labs requested by the provider.
• Completing prior authorizations for medications as needed.
• Calling patients with results.
• Completing FMLA paperwork.
• Maintaining stock and ensuring proper supplies are available.
• Providing friendly and compassionate care to patients.
• Communicating effectively with both patients and the care team.
• Supporting teamwork within our small, close-knit staff.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
Position Details:
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm (off Wednesdays, weekends, and holidays).
• Location: Family Medicine of Cloverdale, 51 E. Market Street, Cloverdale, IN 46120.

• You will be assigned to one provider to room for, but may help room other providers in the practice as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications
Qualifications:
Education: High School education required
Age Requirement: 18
Required Skills:
• Previous medical assisting experience required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines
• Abides by all HIPAA guidelines
• Abides by all hospital policies and procedures
• Understanding of completing prior authorizations and other insurance needs
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system preferred.
