Family Medicine of Cloverdale is looking for a Clinic Lead to join their team! This position is a working supervisor role, so in addition to leadership experience, Patient Service Representative and front office/receptionist experience is strongly preferred.
Job Summary:
Putnam County Hospital’s Clinic Lead/Manager will work closely with physicians and staff to oversee daily operations of the practice and align it with the organizations mission and strategic vision. Key requirements involve developing, planning, coordinating and implementing business plan and strategy. This involves budgets and overseeing all aspects of the daily operations of the business including business expansion; office coding, billing and collections; promote patient satisfaction and perform service recovery; employee management and training; policy and procedure management; medical record management; technical issues; physical office issue resolution; physician issue resolution; daily flow and evaluation standards of care for patients.
Job Duties:
- Promotes continuous quality improvement in patient services and workflow
- Oversees all aspects of patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification and reception in the clinic
- Tracks access to care and communicates barriers to leadership
- With guidance from leadership, ensures compliance with all standard, PCH, OSHA, CLIA, AAAASF, and HIPAA policies within the clinic
- Alongside leadership, implements short and long range organizational goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures
- Monitors and operational effectiveness at a clinic level and communicates changes needed to leadership for improvement
- Oversees the supervision of personnel including: work allocation, training, scheduling and payroll management
- Alongside leadership, evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance
- Alongside leadership, trains staff on new policies and procedures
- Prepares and maintains routine clinical level reports as needed
- Alongside the new Senior Practice Managers, provides feedback on monthly reporting to ensure administrative and clinical support staff understand the productivity and quality numbers, as well as how they can continually impact them in a positive way
- Perform any and all other duties which may be required to assure proper administration and management of the department.
- Performs supervisory functions in collaboration with leadership including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates
