SEEKING VETERINARY RECEPTIONIST!
Our privately owned veterinary hospital is looking to add to our unicorn team! We are located in beautiful Pierce County & are looking for a fun & compassionate person with top-notch customer service skills to join our hard working & energetic crew. A receptionist holds one of the most important roles because they will provide the first & last impressions of this hospital so it is necessary for the right candidate who enjoys working with both people & animals in a fast paced & ever changing environment. It is important that this role be fulfilled by someone who is able to prioritize, multitask with numerous interruptions, & have the ability to communicate directly and professionally.
Job requirements/skills/physical demands: Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma/GED. Prior veterinary experience is a plus. Person must have exemplary communication skills, strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, & be a team player. Telephone & computer skills are needed. Person must be willing to interact with & restrain animals- it is not a requirement to know how as long as you are someone who is teachable! Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds unassisted, be dependable, reliable, remain calm under stress, & have fun!

Pay: $16.66 - $19.00 per hour
