What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at PVS Plastics?
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· All bookkeeping and account analysis and reconciliations
· Facilitate labor hour reporting
· Pay bills on time and collect receivables when due
· Assist with budgeting
· Reconcile intercompany accounts and assist with financial reporting to corporate
· Review insurance policies, making recommendations about coverages
· Oversee cost control
· Provide necessary information to outside tax accountant
· Ensure proper inventory control
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· 3 years of experience working in accounting
· Firm grasp of accounting practices and theory
· Working knowledge of MS Office
· Strong ethics and reliability
· Excellent organizational, problem solving, decision-making and time management skills
· BS/BA in accounting/business administration preferred
