Are you a skilled Certified Welding Inspector looking to make an impact in a fast-paced, high-quality environment? We’re on the lookout for an experienced professional to join our team and play a key role in ensuring our structural fabrication meets the highest standards.
As a Certified Welding Inspector, you'll be at the forefront of our quality assurance efforts, conducting inspections and ensuring our products meet both customer requirements and company standards. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to excellence, helping us deliver reliable, top-notch products every time.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform random inspections on all structural fabrication products based on procedures or job specifications.
- Document non-conformance reports in Unipoint and red-tag materials as needed.
- Maintain accurate quality inspection records using SMART inspection software and handheld devices.
- Collaborate on weld mapping and error-proofing initiatives.
- Conduct offsite inspections when required.
What We Expect from You:
- Be a driving force in our continuous quality improvement process.
- Help reduce costs related to fabrication errors and rework.
- Collaborate on developing processes and procedures to improve productivity while maintaining quality.
- Uphold and follow ISO standards and company procedures.
- What You Bring to the Table:
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector credentials.
- Proven experience in weld inspection and welding processes.
- Strong blueprint reading skills.
- Leadership and communication abilities.
- Technical expertise and commercial awareness.
