The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving PWR’s growth within our automotive sector, specifically tied to OEM & Aftermarket. This position requires a strategic and proactive individual to engage with key customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring the successful development, management, and execution of major programs. The role will involve collaboration within the Engineering team, with a focus on project management, customer relationship management, supplier development, and the identification of new business opportunities.
Duties and Accountabilities
(Strategic Business Development & Customer Relationship Management)
- Develop and execute business development strategies for PWR’s OEM & Aftermarket divisions, focusing on key accounts and potential opportunities.
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and challenges.
- Lead negotiations and collaborate with internal teams to secure new contracts and business opportunities.
- Identify and evaluate new markets, partnerships, and emerging technologies to expand PWR's presence in the OEM and Aftermarket industries.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
(Project Management & Coordination)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major OEM and aftermarket programs within PWR.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring that all project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless project execution, from design through to final delivery.
- Track and manage the progress of projects, ensuring that all necessary materials, resources, and approvals are obtained in a timely manner to meet customer requirements.
- Proactively address and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during project execution.
(Supplier Development & Technical Leadership)
- Drive technical development and performance improvements with key suppliers and subcontractors, fostering strong partnerships to enhance PWR’s supply chain.
- Collaborate with suppliers to develop new processes, technologies, and capabilities that meet OEM and Aftermarket industry standards.
- Continuously monitor and assess supplier performance to ensure high-quality outputs and timely delivery.
- Work with the internal R&D and engineering teams to incorporate cutting-edge technologies and solutions into PWR’s offerings.
(Operational & Financial Oversight)
- Ensure that all contracts and projects are aligned with PWR’s business objectives and financial goals.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
- Track project and program performance against KPIs, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve targeted outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years' prior industry related business development experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
