The Fire Sprinkler System Installation Helper will develop the skills necessary to install, test, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems under the guidance of experienced Fire Sprinkler Installation Technicians. Candidates interested in continuing and or growing within the fire industry are encouraged to apply!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Acquire knowledge of fire sprinkler system components, codes, regulations, and safety procedures through training
- Aid in conducting routine inspections, tests, and installations of fire sprinkler systems
- Collaborate with experienced technicians to troubleshoot and repair fire sprinkler system components, such as valves, pipes, and fittings, ensuring optimal functionality
- Work closely with the installation team to ensure timely completion of projects by providing support and assistance as required
- Address customer concerns and providing assistance as required
- Demonstrate a professional and customer-focused approach when interacting with co-workers and customers
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries during installation, maintenance, and repair activities
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed
- Other duties as assigned
