The Lead Fire Sprinkler System Installer will responsible for the complete installation of fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Manage specific installation projects assigned to them without supervision. Ensure the entire installation process is done completely and accurately. Previous experience in Fire Sprinkler System Installation is required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Use project drawings to interpret installation requirement details
- Install and test installation of fire suppression equipment in new or retrofit construction projects
- Follow designed plans and communicate design changes to fit actual site requirements
- Manage materials delivered to site
- Update daily installation progress notes on job contract drawings
- Delegate appropriate tasks to fitters, mechanics and assistants as needed to fulfill project completion deadlines, meet scheduling requirements, and exceed goals
- Train helpers, apprentices, or other personnel in the basic process or service, repair, and / or system installation
- Accurately complete and maintain paperwork
- Maintain vehicle and tools as per company policy
- Perform other duties assigned
