Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire safety and maintenance, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. As a Fire Extinguisher Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing and inspecting portable fire extinguishers in commercial and residential buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and maintain portable fire extinguishers in commercial and residential buildings
- Test and repair fire extinguishers as needed
- Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with fire codes
- Document inspection results and prepare accurate reports
- Respond to emergency service calls
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A high school education or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and fire codes
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
