Key Job Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Configuring and installing piping systems composed of different materials.
- Inspecting pipes for pressure and leaks, and reporting or resolving issues.
- Collaborating with management to schedule machinery maintenance, repairs, and installation to minimize disruptions to operations.
- Complying with applicable safety and building codes, regulations, and best practices.
- Maintaining accurate records of safety logs and inspection details.
- Performing other duties assigned by management.
Job Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with any vocational training being highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a Fire Sprinkler Pipe Fitter, with a minimum of two years of experience.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints, and use a variety of tools, including blowtorches, saws, pipe benders, and welding torches.
