">As a Fires Sprinkler Foreman, you will have the opportunity to work with a leading provider of fire protection services, dedicated to delivering exceptional results and ensuring the safety of our clients. This role requires a strong background in fire sprinkler systems, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
You will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of our fire sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. This role entails inspecting, testing, and performing system checks to identify any potential issues and prepare accurate and timely inspection reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Checks: Conduct routine preventative maintenance on fire sprinkler systems, inspecting and testing to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Equipment Repair: Inspect, maintain, repair, or replace fire sprinkler equipment and systems in strict accordance with applicable codes and standards.
- Customer Service: Interact with clients in a professional and mature manner, providing excellent customer service.
- Technical Assistance: Offer advanced technical assistance to team members and customers as needed.
- Trade Skills Training: Teach trade skills to advancing apprentices/helpers.
- Reporting and Documentation: Complete detailed inspection reports, documenting any issues and report results of work completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Company Equipment Maintenance: Protect and maintain company equipment, including warehouse equipment and vehicles.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergency service calls.
- Workplace Safety: Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to company safety procedures and regulations.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience with fire sprinkler systems.
- Knowledge: Advanced working knowledge of NFPA 13 and NFPA 25.
- Skills: Skilled operation of sprinkler trade equipment, troubleshooting skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Scheduling Flexibility: Ability to work flexible scheduling requirements, including evening, weekend, and out-of-town assignments.
- Lead Capacity: Ability to act in a lead capacity.
