Position Summary:
The Sprinkler Sales Representative will market and sell products and services offered by the company to current and new clientele. This role is responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients. Duties may include identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads and maintaining relationships with existing customers. Outside Sales Representatives may also recommend marketing strategies designed for a target market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Builts and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads
- Communicates with customers and leads to understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs
- Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs
- E nsures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale
- Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest
- Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems
- Provides periodic territory sales forecasts
- Perform other duties assigned by management
Requirements:
- 3 years of fire sprinkler sales experience required
- 2 years of fire sprinkler design experience preferred, specifically retrofit design
- RME-G or RME-I preferred
- Must have a clean driving record
- Ability to travel daily within assigned territory
