Pay Range: $40 - $41/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing fixtures, jigs, and general assembly aids for production and R&D builds, primarily for x-ray tube manufacturing.
• Make tool drawings, supporting in house tool manufacturing and assembly, and evaluating and selecting tool manufacturing suppliers.
• Review product designs and make recommendations on tooling projects to ensure manufacturability, efficiency, and cost-savings.
• Handle developing tooling for a wide range of manufacturing processes including but not limited to welding, turning, grinding, milling, vacuum brazing, precision assembly, coating, high level assembly.
• Participate in tool design reviews.
• Work with component design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and industrial engineering to achieve the best possible cradle to grave metrics (safety, cost, quality, cycle time, delivery, reliability, life, and maintenance/refurbishment).
• Manage projects including vendor selection, fabrication, inspection, equipment installation, and commissioning of tooling.
• Set, implement, and maintain schedules to ensure project completion.
• Facilitate effective and collaborative communication by fostering creativity and leveraging team member strengths.
