The iconic Arizona Biltmore is located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood in Phoenix. The resort was named the “Jewel of the Desert” since its opening on February 23, 1929. This gorgeous 39-acre property reopened in May 2021 after undergoing a $150 million restoration and has over 700 rooms, over 200,000 square feet in banquet space, and 8 food and beverage outlets (including 2 restaurants, 2 bars, 2 poolside bars, a gelato shop/café, and in-room dining).

As an Accounting Analyst / Clerk, you will be responsible for performing activities to support the Accounts Payable Accounting function. The Accounting Analyst / Clerk will participate in the development and processes of accurate reports and account management your primary responsibility is to process invoices and payments in timely manner.

Overview
As an Accounting Analyst / Clerk, you will be responsible for performing activities to support the Accounts Payable Accounting function. The Accounting Analyst / Clerk will participate in the development and processes of accurate reports and account management your primary responsibility is to process invoices and payments in timely manner.
Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
- Perform applicable retained Accounts Payable function.
- Respond to guest inquiries, charge inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to support continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
- Collaborate with SSCs and service provider, as well as partner with SSC to resolve disputes.
- Participate in the production of monthly accounts as directed.
- Complete month-end responsibilities.
- Execute internal control over revenues, expenses, assets and liabilities of the hotel.
- Participate in special projects, team training and development.
- Report results to others and aids others to understand financial matters.
- Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with other finance departments and corporate departments they support.
- Collaborate with manager to establish specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish project/department goals.
- Attend staff meetings pertinent to work assignments.
- Research and respond to information requests from internal departments and management.
- Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations on property and follow the correct procedures when required.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
- At least two (2) years experience in accounting (accounts payable) and/or hotel, required
- Customer service experience, required
- Experience with the following software: Craftable, Finance and Operations (F&O), DooAP or Sharepoint, preferred
- Must have basic knowledge of accounting and computer operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- An organized self-starter
- Innovative
