High Focus Centers in Farmington and Norwalk are premier providers of outpatient treatment programs for mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders. At High Focus Centers in Farmington and Norwalk we are currently seeking a Clinician to join our amazing team of behavioral healthcare professionals and support both programs as needed! As a Licensed Counselor you would facilitate all clinical services for clients including family groups/sessions, therapeutic groups, and referral source/ outpatient provider contact. Salary Range: starting $60,000/year
Schedule: Full Time, supporting both Norwalk or Farmington as needed, hybrid role (mix of virtual and in-person)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Evaluates behavioral, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and social needs of clients and family members
Facilitates clinical services for clients including family groups/sessions, therapeutic groups, and referral source/ outpatient provider contact.
Responsible for maintaining clinical record for clients with appropriate documentation of clinical services and client program engagement in ECR
Provides documentation and support for utilization review
Completes Level of Care Assessments
Contributes to program specific curriculum development, literature review, and training in accordance with clinical philosophy.
Other duties as assigned
Required Education/Licensure
Required: LSW/LAC/LCSW/LPC (or are in the process of obtaining)
Preferred: 1 year experience providing group based mental health treatment to adolescent population (ages 10 to 18)
