This role ensures the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the building while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations and standards. The Facilities Supervisor will lead a team of housekeeping and maintenance staff, coordinate with vendors, and respond to facility-related emergencies as needed.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and housekeeping operations of our facility. This role ensures the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the building while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations and standards. The Facilities Supervisor will lead a team of housekeeping and maintenance staff, coordinate with vendors, and respond to facility-related emergencies as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance and housekeeping functions.
- Participate in the Safety Committee, maintain the Safety Handbook, and ensure staff receive necessary safety training and updates.
- Conduct regular facility walkthroughs and inspections to ensure compliance with program standards.
- Provide status updates to the Facilities Manager and oversee vendor/contractor services.
- Respond to off-hours facility emergencies as required.
- Maintain compliance with Building, NFPA, CARF/Life Safety Codes, and other applicable regulations.
- Complete required training and professional development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Directly supervise housekeeping and maintenance staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in plumbing, electrical, building maintenance, and HVAC systems.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, repairs, and safety standards.
- Ability to maintain repair records and prepare reports.
- Effective problem-solving skills, especially in crisis situations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as walking, climbing stairs, kneeling, and reaching.
- Willingness to travel locally as needed.
- Primarily indoor setting with moderate noise levels.
- Exposure to potentially hazardous conditions, including viruses or traumatic situations, due to the nature of the work environment.
- Must provide own transportation for local travel.
