Location: High Focus Centers – Center City, Philadelphia, PA
High Focus Centers, a premier provider of outpatient behavioral health treatment, is seeking a Full-Time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our multidisciplinary team in Center City Philadelphia. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide psychiatric care to adolescents and adults in a structured outpatient setting focused on mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.
Responsibilities
As a Full-Time PMHNP, you will:
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management sessions
Monitor client progress, review lab results, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Prepare discharge orders and prescriptions
Collaborate with therapists, medical staff, and other providers to ensure integrated care
Provide clinical guidance and support to the treatment team
Participate in peer review and quality assurance processes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
Support continuous improvement in psychiatric services
Qualifications
Active PMHNP license in Pennsylvania (required)
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in psychiatric care
Experience working with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
Knowledge of CARF, DDAP, and Office of Mental Health standards
Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and ethical practice standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and EHR systems
Excellent interpersonal, clinical, and organizational skills
Technical Competencies
Ability to deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care in an outpatient setting
Strong clinical decision-making and collaborative skills
Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement in service delivery
