Job Title: JD Edwards CNC Administrator
Location: Charlotte, NC (100% Onsite)
Duration: 18 Month Contract
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards (JDE) Configurable Network Computing (CNC) Administrator to manage and maintain our JDE EnterpriseOne systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and administration of the JDE environment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role requires a deep understanding of JDE CNC architecture and the ability to work closely with IT and business teams to support various operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Installation and Configuration: Install and configure JD Edwards EnterpriseOne systems, including deployment servers, enterprise servers, and workstations.
- Environment Management: Set up and manage multiple JDE environments (e.g., development, testing, production), ensuring proper version control and environment integrity.
- User and Security Administration: Manage user profiles, roles, and security settings to ensure appropriate access controls are in place.
- Performance Monitoring and Tuning: Monitor system performance and conduct tuning activities to optimize system efficiency and responsiveness.
- Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard system data and ensure business continuity.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support for JDE-related issues, diagnosing problems, and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- System Upgrades and Patching: Plan and execute system upgrades, service pack installations, and patches to keep the JDE environment current and secure.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and end-users to support application development, testing, and deployment activities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. (Preferred)
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a JD Edwards CNC Administrator, with hands-on experience in EnterpriseOne 9.2.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of JDE CNC architecture, tools, and technologies. Proficiency in database management (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server), operating systems (e.g., Windows, UNIX), and networking concepts.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
