Title: JD Edwards Technical Developer
Project Duration: 12 months, with potential to convert to permanent employment
Location: Charlotte, NC (onsite 3 days/week, 2 days remote)
VISA: This position does not offer be able to convert to full-time without sponsorship.
Position Summary:
The JDE Technical Developer will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) applications, specifically focusing on the distribution modules. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in JD Edwards, a proven ability to work with end users to gather requirements, and a passion for delivering impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (9.2) applications and modules.
- Serve as a liaison between IT and functional distribution teams, gathering and analyzing business requirements.
- Collaborate with users to design, develop, test, and implement enhancements or changes to JDE applications.
- Create, customize, and modify reports, forms, and screens to meet business needs.
- Work directly with warehouse and manufacturing plant teams to gather requirements and develop solutions tailored to operational needs.
- Participate in project planning, defining detailed tasks and deliverables.
- Provide ongoing support and training for JDE users.
- Utilize JDE Orchestrator and C Business Functions (BSFN) for system development and process automation.
Requirements:
- 7 years of experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (9.x).
- Expertise in designing, coding, and testing custom modules and reports.
- 5 years of experience with C Business Functions (BSFN); experience with JDE Orchestrator is essential.
- Cross-functional knowledge of distribution modules/applications or a strong willingness to learn.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in multi-plant manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
