About the Company
Pyro-Comm Systems was founded in Huntington Beach, CA in 1980 by Michael Donahue and quickly became one
of the premier fire alarm companies in Southern California. The company’s focus was providing quality installations
and service to contractors, end-users, and property managers. Many of the employees have more than 20 years of
service with Pyro-Comm Systems. In 1996, Pyro-Comm Systems opened their second office in Carlsbad, CA to
support clients throughout the greater San Diego area. In 2010, Pyro-Comm Systems opened a third office in the
San Francisco Bay area in order to support clients throughout Northern California.
Today, Pyro-Comm Systems has ample staff throughout 4 branches and has annual revenues in excess of 20
million dollars from installations/ services over the past 5 years.
Pyro-Comm Systems has been involved in the design, engineering, and installation phases of Fire/Life Safety,
Healthcare Communications, Security Intrusion, Voice & Data, CCTV and Access Control Systems on thousands of
projects with Owners, Engineers, Developers and General Contractors. From design, engineering and code
consulting, Pyro-Comm Systems provides “value added” services to Professional Engineers & Architects,
Developers, Contractors, and End Users.
About the Job
The Cloud Services Administrator will be primarily responsible for the managing and maintaining of the different monitoring and cloud services accounts Pyro-Comm Systems provides. This position will work closely with both the Service and Operations Departments as well as our external customers.
Responsibilities for the Cloud Services Administrator
Monitoring
- Maintaining an ongoing relationship with National Monitoring Center (NMC)
- Uploading and Creation of New Monitoring Accounts with NMC
- Updating and modifying existing accounts with NMC
- Assist customers regarding Signals received by NMC
Cellular Services
- Activation/Deactivation of Cellular Services Devices
- Teleguard, Mylink, ect
- Subscription Services
- Uploading and Creation of new cloud services accounts
- Brivo, Eagle Eye, Ect
Activations and Creation of CLSS Accounts
- Updating Points Data
- Assist in Creation of Inspection Reports in CLSS
- Assist in UL Audits
Experience and Education
- Minimum of 1 to 5 years related experience
- Professional demeanor, able to interact with others with tact and respect
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Excel and Word skills, in addition to use of Outlook and Google calendars
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to different computer / software systems
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license with good driving history
