The Planner I will be responsible for coordinating production schedules to ensure that customer demands are met in a timely manner. This role involves facilitating production start dates for new orders and tracking production progress for existing orders.
Requirements
Production Scheduling & Coordination :
Use production lead times and delivery dates to establish start-by schedules
Work closely with production managers and team leads to set priorities and deadlinesMonitor production activities and adjust schedules to align with progressProblem-Solving & Optimization :
Identify potential bottlenecks and communicate delays proactivelyAdjust schedules dynamically to meet evolving project needsTrack and report key performance metrics like lead time and on-time deliveryCross-Department Collaboration :
Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure material availabilityServe as a liaison between production teams and other departmentsProvide regular schedule updates to management and stakeholdersSafety & Compliance :
Perform all tasks safely and efficiently, adhering to local, state, and federal safety regulationsWhat We're Looking For :
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administrations, Manufacturing or related field or equivalent experienceProficient in Microsoft Office, especially advanced in Microsoft ExcelA strong communicator and problem-solverHighly organized with excellent attention to detailComfortable working in a dynamic and fast-changing environmentA team player who enjoys collaborating across departmentsFlexibility in work schedules and task assignments; some overtime may be required.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Working Conditions :
Ability to lift 25-50 lbs of equipment with assistance.Fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with supervisors.Comfortable working on your feet in a production environment.Benefits
