What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Assistant position at Q4 SERVICES INC?
Q4 is seeking a Part-Time Human Resources Assistant to support the HR department in the areas of recruitment, benefit administration, employment and employment compliance. The ideal candidate will be organized and adaptable with strong computer skills and excellent interpersonal skills. Specific duties include:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain employee records and information in ADP Workforce Now.
- Reconcile benefit invoices; assist with benefits process and employee questions.
- Review and correct timesheets for payroll; assist with the bi-weekly payroll process as necessary.
- Manage paperwork, maintain employee records and assist with other day-to-day activities for the HR department and the front office.
- Support company initiatives related to hiring, benefits, training, compliance and employee engagement.
- Help coordinate employee events, communications and recognition programs.
- Serves as an example to other employees by demonstrating safety policies, attendance guidelines and other policies.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1-2 years of administrative or HR-related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (or current student) or equivalent amount of experience and education.
- Basic knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams
- Prior experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS system is a plus.
