Business Intelligence Analyst

In this role, you'll use your analytical expertise to transform data into actionable insights, drive decision-making, and improve operational efficiencies. Working at our state-of-the-art facility, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data-driven decisions while leveraging emerging technology tools to grow your skills. This is a full-time onsite role at our Lakeville, Minnesota location.

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with teams at QA1 to understand business needs and translate them into actionable dashboards and reports.
• Data Analysis: Extract, cleanse, and analyze large datasets to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Report & Dashboard Development: Design and maintain customized dashboards to track KPIs and business metrics.
• Enhance Data Accuracy: Work with IT to improve data collection processes and ensure data integrity.
• Develop Tools & Pipelines: Assist in building new data pipelines and tools to enhance analytics capabilities.
• Advanced Analytics: Use statistical methods and predictive modeling for forecasting and risk identification.
• Automation & Efficiency: Explore automation and machine learning to improve reporting efficiency.
• Actionable Insights: Leverage your work to provide clear insights that support data-driven decision-making.
• Training & Support: Provide training and support on data tools and reporting systems.
• Other duties as beneficial to the success of QA1.

The Critical Skills and Experience You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, business analytics or related required.
• At least 3 years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Well-developed proficiency in SQL for querying databases and Excel for data manipulation.
• Must have experience with Power BI and data visualization tools.
• Preferred qualifications: Prior user of Infor Syteline, Tableau, or Looker; skilled in statistical tools and programming languages such as R or Python helpful and exposure to Google Analytics
• Preferred experience: Understanding of manufacturing workflows and operating procedures.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to convert business requirements to technical specifications and ensure timely delivery of BI solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting data analyses to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Positive attitude with a collaborative approach to solve business needs.
• High level of proficiency in MS 365 and ERP systems.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and align with QA1’s values.
