Job Description:
Qamaria Coffee Co. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee daily operations at our coffee shop in Rochester, MN. As the Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our commitment to providing exceptional service, high-quality coffee, and a welcoming environment for all of our customers. This is a full-time position that reports directly to the District Manager. In addition to your role in Rochester, you will receive a two-week paid training at one of our locations in the Twin Cities to ensure you're fully equipped to succeed in this role.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supervise and schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage, while maintaining an atmosphere of excellent service and teamwork.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the coffee shop, including opening and/or closing duties.
- Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training new staff members, ensuring alignment with Qamaria Coffee Co.'s standards and culture.
- Oversee inventory management, including weekly ordering of coffee beans, pastries, and other supplies to ensure the shop is always well-stocked.
- Ensure the shop is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
- Address customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a professional and efficient manner to maintain a positive experience.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards, following guidelines for food safety, cleanliness, and workplace safety.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role within a coffee shop or food service environment.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, beverage preparation, and general coffee shop operations.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in maintaining inventory levels and ensuring store cleanliness.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
