In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of people strategies, initiatives, programs and policies at a senior level, overseeing multiple business units. With a broad client base, you will provide high-level strategic advice and guidance while driving impactful business discussions with senior leadership.Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the employee / labor relations function for the Americas region with a focus on LAX engineering union negotiations and union relationships.What you’ll bring to the role : Extensive HR business partnering experience with senior leadership teams in a large, complex organisationIndustrial Relations experience in the United States including CBA negotiations and ManagementKnowledge of Californian Labor LawComprehensive knowledge of US benefits administration and complianceExperience working in a satellite office with reporting structure back to HQProven ability managing change and building organisational capabilityStrong stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence senior leadersHighly developed business and commercial acumen and the ability to effectively use HR data and analytics to drive people solutionsPeople leadership skills with the ability to successfully lead and develop a teamWhy Qantas?You’ll join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged.
