Role: Healthcare - IT Business Analyst
Location: Tampa, FL
Full Time Only
Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in IT systems, Business Analysis, or a related area.
- Must have experience of Health plan’s ‘Appeals & Grievances for Medicare’.
Qualification: Bachelors in IT/Computer Science/Management
Key responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for system enhancements and new functionalities for appeals & grievances.
- Conduct analysis to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve system processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness using Newgen products and offerings.
- Assist in implementing process improvement initiatives and system upgrades.
- Demonstrate new features to end users.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Functional Specification Documents, Business Requirement Documents, user guides and process flow diagrams.
- Create Functional test cases and ensure system is running as per QA guidelines.
- Compliance & Security:
- Ensure that all IT systems comply with healthcare regulations, data privacy, and security standards.
- Stay updated with changes in healthcare IT regulations and best practices.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with IT developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure system solutions align with business goals.
- Participate in meetings and provide updates on project status and system issues.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
