SUMMARY
The Equipment Engineer at the new QCELLS plant in Cartersville, GA will be responsible for maintaining and managing ingot equipment. This includes improvements for processing machines. The Equipment Engineer will be a vital member of the Maintenance & Development team and will work closely with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations.
RESPONSIBLITIES
SUMMARY
The Equipment Engineer at the new QCELLS plant in Cartersville, GA will be responsible for maintaining and managing ingot equipment. This includes improvements for processing machines. The Equipment Engineer will be a vital member of the Maintenance & Development team and will work closely with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations.
RESPONSIBLITIES
- Responsible for tasks related to equipment maintenance
- Analyze facility raw data and prepare a report to improve facility efficiency
- Implement improvement projects to improve facility productivity and yield
- Maintenance and improvement work to achieve production facility KPI goals
- Cost reduction and productivity improvement through equipment parts management and modification/improvement
- Manage the inventory and usage of spare parts for equipment.
- Manage plans and schedules for preventive inspections and follow-up maintenance, set work priorities for personnel allocation, monitor progress and report results
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical or electronic or industrial engineering or mechatronics engineering or related engineering fields
- 3-5 years of equipment failure analysis experience
- Experienced in facility failure analysis and overall facility efficiency management
- Equipment capacity analysis, automated facility LOB (line of balance) analysis management
- Capex/OpEx budget establishment and performance management
- Establishment of equipment PM plan and performance management
- Document writing and presentation skills are required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Bilingual in Chinese or Korean preferred
- Experienced in ERP and MES computerized management systems
