The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and commissioning of critical mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, environmental standards, and project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Schedule Management: Establish and maintain project timelines, coordinating with internal and external teams to meet critical deadlines and ensure efficient workflow.
- Construction Management: Oversee mechanical system installations, ensuring all work aligns with engineering designs, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Engineering Management: Lead the development and refinement of mechanical engineering processes, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with project requirements.
- Engineering Management: Oversee the design, specification, and integration of UPW, waste water, and lift station systems within manufacturing facility projects.
- Construction Management: Supervise on-site mechanical installations, coordinate with contractors, and ensure adherence to project schedules and quality requirements.
- System Design & Implementation: Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop and optimize efficient water treatment and distribution solutions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure systems meet industry regulations, environmental policies, and safety standards such as OSHA, EPA, and local building codes.
- Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and installation of equipment.
- Performance Optimization: Conduct troubleshooting and system analysis to improve efficiency and reliability of mechanical systems.
- Schedule Management: Develop, track, and adjust project schedules to align with mechanical system milestones and construction progress.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project records, including system specifications, compliance documentation, and progress reports.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the point of contact between internal teams, clients, and project stakeholders regarding mechanical system developments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in UPW, waste water, and lift station systems within construction projects for manufacturing facilities.
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, fluid dynamics, and treatment technologies.
- Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, NFPA, and EPA standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and water system modeling software.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications.
- Experience in semiconductor, solar, or industrial water treatment projects.
- Knowledge of lean construction principles and sustainable water management.
