POSITION DESCRIPTION :
The Director of Energy Storage Solutions Sales will be responsible for driving market growth and customer relationships within the energy storage sector. The ideal candidate has more than five years of Sales experience selling Energy Storage Hardware / Software in the Front of the Meter Market. Direct industry experience in the renewable and / or energy storage industries is desired. The candidate should have strong Sales Experience along with excellent communication skills.
This position will report to the Head of Energy Storage Solution Sales or anyone that the President of the Company may designate. This position will be based in Teaneck, New Jersey office or San Francisco, California Office or remote. Travel up to 50% may be required. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm or 9 : 00 am to 6 : 00 pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales of Qcells Energy Storage hardware and software in the Community Scale, Commercial and Industrial segment – Focused on Front of Meter Market.
- Assess the BESS market by identifying and analyzing key players, market size, growth potential, market dynamics & trends.
- Define and implement a sales growth strategy specific to achieve Sales Targets.
- Identify and establish business relationships with new BESS customers, including utility companies, renewable energy developers, and EPCs.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers' leadership teams (C-suite, SVP, EVP levels).
- Lead the selling and negotiation activities for all major opportunities.
- Define and continuously maintain critical market intelligence from a market, customer, and competitor view.

The Distributed Energy (DE) team develops, invests in, and delivers distribution-connected solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in North America.
