SUMMARY
The Equipment Engineer at the new QCELLS plant in Cartersville, GA will be responsible for maintaining and managing ingot equipment. This includes improvements for processing machines. The Equipment Engineer will be a vital member of the Maintenance & Development team and will work closely with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations.
RESPONSIBLITIES
SUMMARY
The Equipment Engineer at the new QCELLS plant in Cartersville, GA will be responsible for maintaining and managing ingot equipment. This includes improvements for processing machines. The Equipment Engineer will be a vital member of the Maintenance & Development team and will work closely with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations.
RESPONSIBLITIES
- Responsible for tasks related to equipment maintenance
- Implement improvement projects to improve facility productivity and yield
- Installation of new equipment and management of related installation companies
- Maintenance and improvement work to achieve production facility KPI goals
- Cost reduction and productivity improvement through equipment parts management and modification/improvement
- Handle the equipment PLC improvement project progress and management
- Establish PLC troubleshooting procedures and take measure with training
- Automation machine operation rates must be kept high
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronic or computer engineering or related engineering fields
- 3-5 years of equipment electrical control experience
- Experienced in sequence, PLC, HMI control (PLC: SIEMENS, OMRON, Mitsubishi, Inovance)
- Experienced in industrial robot control Experienced in industrial robot control
- Experienced in maintaining and improving process automation or logistics automation.
- AGV or AMR operation management and maintenance
- Electrical drawing interpretation and design skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Experience in the semiconductor or photovoltaic industry
- Electrical license holders
- Bilingual in Chinese or Korean preferred
