QCR Holdings is looking for an Enterprise Architect to join our team! This position will perform work under the guidance of the Chief Technology Officer. The Enterprise Architect will focus on key solution areas of business technology for QCRH. They will ensure that robust, scalable, secure, and adaptable solutions are in place for the most strategic business capabilities while minimizing cost and effort needed to support non-strategic business capabilities. The Enterprise Architect provides the necessary leadership, analysis and design skills to support the development, selection, and integration of technology solutions to ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards. He or she creates deliverables for managing the organization's portfolio of "to be" and "as is" solutions - including systems (applications, processes and information), shared infrastructure services, and shared application services and components to enable and drive targeted business outcomes. The Enterprise Architect work with various IT and business stakeholders to develop roadmaps and reference architectures and will provide technical guidance and direction to project teams. This is a highly visible position in the company and therefore the chosen candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication, influencing, and collaboration skills.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or other related fields plus 5-7 years experience in software architecture and/or design with significant experience creating roadmaps, technology recommendations and project architectures. Previous experience with several various technology approaches such as Cloud, REST API, OAuth, SQL Database, Microservices, EAI, DevOps, etc. required. Previous experience in delivering integrations between externally hosted / cloud and on-premise applications and in-depth understanding of one or more coding languages and best practices required. Hands-on experience with SDLC methodologies such as Agile, Lean, Waterfall, and DevOps with experience delivering presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
