TITLE: Senior Business System Analyst
DEPARTMENT: GO: Enterprise Architecture & Apps
PAY GRADE & FLSA: 7 and Exempt
Job Summary
The Business Systems Analyst is the pivotal role in bridging the gap between our business objectives and technological solutions. The analyst will be responsible for analyzing complex business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and designing innovative systems solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
The analyst will provide technical expertise to business owners for specific systems, managing the product lifecycle for supported applications and systems, including new releases and updates. Responsibilities include aiding business owners and project team in managing user acceptance testing (UAT) and implementation plans.
This role demands maintaining a high level of knowledge related to application and system integration. The analyst will serve as the central point of contact
Essential Functions
Communicate frequently with vendor support teams to ensure optimal service quality
Configure systems based on request from business partners.
Maintain ongoing communication with vendors to understand product functionality and alignment with business needs.
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to provide innovative solutions while meeting business, compliance, security, and risk objectives
Understand data models to assist in the development and execution of native application reports
Improve systems by studying current use cases and identifying opportunities for innovative efficiencies and standardization
Own relevant system upgrades and understand their impact on business processes.
Collaborate with Operations and bank partners to identify continuous improvement opportunities (training, procedures, system enhancements)
Oversee and participate in system upgrades and enhancements including testing
Promotes cross-training and knowledge transfer within IT team as well as business and operations partners.
Comply with all company or regulatory policies, procedures and requirements applicable to this position.
Foster and preserve a culture of inclusion.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or another related field preferred; Associate degree Required.
Proven experience 4 years working as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, with a focus on supporting and implementing software systems solutions
Understanding of software requirements and technical software documentation
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and information technology infrastructure library (ITIL) framework is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, organizational and prioritization skills.
Excellent research and analytical skills.
Outstanding customer service skills and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations
Self-Motivated with the ability to complete tasks with minimal direction
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
Understanding of and commitment to the organization’s goals and objectives
Working Conditions
Duties are performed in a professional office environment.

The following compensation and benefits information is provided pursuant to applicable pay transparency and compensation posting laws.
The starting salary is estimated at $59,659- $85,226.70. The actual wage will be based on qualifications and business needs and may vary, as permitted by applicable state law.
This position is a regular full-time position, and individuals employed as regular full-time, are eligible for the following benefits subject to the terms, limitations and conditions of each benefit plan: Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, FSA, HSA, 401K, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and additional Voluntary Supplemental Insurance.
