JOB SUMMARY :

The Vendor Management Analyst will act as a key point of contact for new vendor requests, leveraging their expertise and knowledge of industry best practices, procurement processes, and market trends. This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to end vendor selection process including but not limited to managing the RFXs process for evaluating vendor selection and measurement of ongoing vendor performance. As a key member of the Vendor & Contract Management team this role will contribute to the development of the enterprise-wide strategy that is responsible for ensuring the Vendor Management team is fully aligned, holding vendors accountable for delivery of compelling and cost-effective business value, and continuously focusing on improving the QCRH Employee and Client experience while achieving bottom-line results.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Leads the development and implementation of a standardized vendor evaluation process, including the creation of evaluation and scoring methodology and tools / templates.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify vendor requirements and develop detailed RFX documents.
  • Collaborate with vendors to coordinate and schedule product demonstrations and additional follow-up communications as needed.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of vendor proposals, including reviewing pricing, assessing technical capabilities, and evaluating vendor references.
  • Make informed recommendations for vendor selections based on comprehensive evaluations, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.
  • Work closely with Vendor and Contract Management leader to support the negotiation and finalization of contract, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and requirements.
  • Collaborate with others in the creation of Statements of Work derived from information gathered during the RFX process.
  • Participate in the development of business cases and total cost of ownership models, including vendor performance criteria and scorecards.
  • Regularly assess and evaluate the performance of critical vendors to ensure they meet contractual obligations and SLA’s.
  • Manage the process of regular vendor score carding and vendor performance evaluation, including but not limited to industry information regarding market share, 10K financial performance and legal health.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards that provide insights into critical vendor’s performance for leadership review.
  • Partner with the Business Analyst and Finance to analyze the ROI after project completion.
  • Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with Technology, Operations and Security and other business leaders by gaining a deep understanding of their requirements and ensuring the vendor selection process aligns with and fulfills those needs.
  • Identify and pursue continuous improvement opportunities and support the implementation of operational improvement initiatives for the Vendor & Contract Management Department.
  • Support internal business partners on adhering to Vendor Management processes and procedures including but not limited to risk, audit, compliance and security departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS :

1.Degree or certification in Business Administration, Project Management, Supply Chain Management or related field highly desired

2.5 years in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration required

3.2 years’ experience issuing and evaluating RFX’s and SOWs

4.Experience with system conversion(s), data migration processes, system integration, and Internet banking systems are highly desirable attributes

5.Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills

6.Process mapping, continuous improvement, and project management skill sets

7.Knowledge of presentation methods, including MS PPT, and ability to convey complex ideas simply

8.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, business leaders and cross functional teams

9.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt well to change

10.Ability to demonstrate critical business judgement is required, including strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS :

  • Duties are performed in a professional office environment.
  • SALARY & BENEFITS :

    The following compensation and benefits information is provided pursuant to applicable pay transparency and compensation posting laws.

    The anticipated starting salary for this position is $65,000 annually. The actual starting salary or hourly wage will be based on qualifications and business needs and may vary, as permitted by applicable state law.

    This position is a regular full-time position, and individuals employed as regular full-time, are eligible for the following benefits subject to the terms, limitations and conditions of each benefit plan : Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, FSA, HSA, 401K, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and additional Voluntary Supplemental Insurance.
