What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territory Sales Manager position at QDI Stone?
This is a full-time outside sales position for an individual who enjoys working with customers and growing their account base for further sales. We are looking for a self-motivated driven individual who can identify potential customers, develop accounts through face-to-face meetings and written proposals for business. Flooring industry experience is a PLUS!
- Must be willing to cold call,
respond to Requests for Proposals (RFP) and able to prepare proposals and
submittals for bid;
- Maintain effective relationships
with field service and administrative support staff, advocating for the
best interests of our customer while maintaining acceptable company profit
margins.
Business is locally based, but opportunities for profitable business is not limited.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify prospective customers
and respond to requests for proposals in a timely manner
- Maintain contact with the
customer after agreements are signed to ensure all materials are supplied
- Maintain effective
relationships with field service personnel
- Conduct store visits as necessary
to ensure proper information, material supply and customer satisfaction
- Demonstrate (PK’s) product
knowledge
- Set up showroom displays
- Deliver samples to prospective
accounts
QUALIFICATIONS
- Effective selling and closing
skills
- Excellent communication and
presentation skills
- Self-motivated team player with
strong work ethic
- Some sales experience
preferred; B2B experience a plus
- Willing and able to learn new
products and trade knowledge
