Position Overview
QinetiQ has an immediate opening for a Full Stack Software Developer supporting federal law enforcement.
We are specifically looking for someone who has experience migrating legacy systems and implementing security controls as part of the DevOps process.
QinetiQ has a full shop of dedicated software developers, engineers, data scientists and security professionals that this position will reside under, the Data and Technology Group. We are looking for an experienced technologist to fill this role, as well as fit within our development culture for continued growth and development.
The candidate will work with stakeholders in collecting requirements, designing, testing, implementing, and maintaining core application software for web applications using HTML, CSS, and Angular framework.
Responsibilities
- Create user interfaces for web applications using HTML, CSS, and Angular framework.
- Implement complex and large Angular applications, directives, services, and components into a .NET Core backend.
- Collaborate closely with UX / UI team members to transform designs and wireframes into polished code.
- Ensure that applications are responsive and optimized for maximum speed and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues and bugs to deliver a seamless user experience.
- Work alongside back-end developers to integrate front-end logic with server-side functionality, web services, and databases.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation.
- Participate in code reviews to uphold code quality and industry standards.
- Design fluid and responsive pages.
- Establish and adhere to product style guides for a consistent user experience.
Required Qualifications
Requires : Bachelors and nine (9) years or more of related experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more of related experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more of related experience.
Must possess an active Secret clearance and must work on client site 5 days per week.
