QLM Search are partnering with an Engineering company who specialize in the design & manufacture precision engineering machinery & tooling that is supplied into rigid packaging - to appoint a new Director of Business Development for the Americas region.
You will be key member of the leadership team driving a new chapter of growth and building a reinvigorated value proposition. This is a great time to join with the momentum of fresh investment, new strategic partnerships and a strong innovation pipeline.
As Director of Business Development you will be coaching a team of Sales Managers and Product Specialists to target Key Account expansion and also whitespace opportunities to take existing capabilities into adjacent markets.
- You will be identifying business opportunities across machinery and tooling sales, aftermarket services and automation solutions for customers.
- To lead, manage and be accountable for all aspects of sales strategy development, implementation and interaction.
- Development and delivery of joint business plans with packaging customers
- To lead, support and develop direct reports and their customer portfolio delivering best practice & all company KPI's
This position will be a great fit for an experienced Director of Business Development / Sales Director who has a proven track record within packaging equipment / Packaging / OEM / Machinery / aftermarket sales
You will possess strong leadership skills and have a passion for building and coaching Sales and Product Specialists on commercial excellence practices.
