QLM Search are partnering with a high-growth manufacturer who supply into consumer goods brands, for their recruitment of an Indirect Procurement Director, who will lead global strategic sourcing & category management strategies.
As Procurement Director (Indirect) you will be joining at a time of momentum, after a record year, to lead a newly defined indirect procurement function; partnering with the CSCO to make a global impact on future business performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- The Director of Procurement - Indirect will define and implement global procurement, category management, supplier performance & strategic sourcing processes across the group.
- Building and harmonizing the indirect procurement operating model to deliver consistency and standardisation of processes.
- Working with key stakeholders and process owners to identify opportunities to drive efficiency and develop value across the supply chain;
- Monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement and standards through key performance metrics.
For this Procurement Director position, you will have significant procurement & sourcing management experience for a broad range of indirect subcategories, with key touch points being MRO, Real Estate and CAPEX.
You will previously led procurement and category management within the beverage, food and packaging industries- or adjacent manufacturing industries.
Furthermore, you will have a track record for building processes, transformation and change; in partnership with a variety of functions and leaders.
