Receiving Material Handler - Medical Supply Distribution

We are QMed, an employee-owned company – a leader in medical supply distribution with business relationships across the globe! We are seeking a skilled Receiving Material Handler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials within the warehouse and ensuring accurate inventory control, within a supply chain and distribution organization. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and adherence of safety protocols.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and TASKS:

· Operate RF scanner to track and locate materials.

· Load and unload materials from trucks or containers.

· Operate forklift, clamp truck, or other heavy equipment as needed.

· Perform order picking and packing duties.

· Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts.

· Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning.

· Follow safety guidelines/protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

· Collaborate with warehouse supervisor and team members to meet production goals.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS and EDUCATION:

· High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

· Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role preferred.

· Proficient in operating RF scanners and other warehouse equipment.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately

· Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.

· Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance is a plus.

· Familiarity with OSHA regulations for safe equipment operation.
