Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in commercial and residential settings.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and ensuring proper sanitation.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning hazardous materials or spills in accordance with safety regulations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices and commercial cleaning techniques.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and equipment operation.
- Ability to perform floor care tasks effectively, including buffing and waxing floors.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and facility occupants.
