Prototype Maintenance Technician
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for performing scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance on test handlers
- Responsible for installing handler kits and performing adjustments as needed.
- Responsible for vision system training per specifications
- Work closely with the factory management team to prioritize job tasks
- Work closely with peers, supervisor, and engineering team to improve equipment to meet production goals
- Document all work performed on equipment via software CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Following standards and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent military or manufacturing industry experience is required
- 2-3 years’ hands on technical maintenance experience.
- Candidate must adhere to all company safety protocols
- Demonstrates proficiency in collaboration with others to make improvements through experimentation and drive toward standardized methods
- Strong mechanical, electronic, and troubleshooting skills required
- Candidate must have solid workplace soft skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be fluent in English
- Candidate must be comfortable navigating and operating computers
- Basic familiarity of MS Office programs is a plus
- Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities
- Hands-on participation and strong sense of ownership
- Ability to work under minimum supervision in a fast paced, high volume production environment
- Must be physically capable of standing/walking up to 12 hours per shift and lift up to 60 pounds
- Must be physically capable of supporting equipment maintenance that requires occasionally bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, squatting, etc.
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Shift Schedule is Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm.
