Position Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Wage: $20.00-$21.00/Hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Monday-Friday)

Shipping and Receiving Clerk Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging items securely and labelling them accurately
- Correctly enter shipment information into the carrier online system
- Be sure all necessary documentation is included with the package prior to shipment
- Assist in data entry tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management
- Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers for efficient transportation solutions
- Build shipping containers as needed
- Accurately provide shipping estimates for customers
- Screens international companies in export compliance software
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products safely within the warehouse
- Conducts a thorough examination of physical parts and documentation
- Receives inventory into inventory management system
- Enters accurate, detailed, and clear inventory notes to provide customers with a comprehensive outline of part information
- Ensures inventory received has adequate imaging and document scans
- Properly label and package inventory based on the part type and packaging guidelines
- Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy in inventory records
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements For Shipping and Receiving Clerk:
- Proven experience in shipping and receiving roles or related fields
- Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Ability to read, interpret and accurately transmit numbers, document details, and other related inventory data into the Quantum System
- Ability to research and obtain accurate pricing information for inventory received
- Must be able to navigate through the warehouse to stock and retrieve inventory as needed
- Must also have the ability to address carriers regarding shipping discrepancies, etc
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience operating forklifts; certification is a plus
- Knowledge in export compliance a plus
- A minimum of one year experience in shipping and receiving, data entry, computer operations, and customer service are preferred
- Employee is regularly required to sit at a computer for an extended period of time, conduct visual assessments of the parts being received
- The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, and talk or hear
- Will regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or mover up to 50 pounds for larger inventory items
- Additional responsibilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to multitask and work with frequent interruptions
