Wage : $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 / Year
Shift : 1st Shift
Hours : 6 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM

TIG Welder / CNC Programmer Laser Responsibilities :
- Programs the laser equipment using nesting software
- Updates routings for changes made to machined component as well as new components
- Identifies new process steps to flatten / shorten route steps and BOM requirements
- Determines routings based on engineering drawings and specifications
- Evaluates engineering drawing with engineering software
- Programs and nests laser parts using nest software
- Explores and develops new approaches and processes to increase quality and productivity in the machine shop
- Analyzes blueprints in order to calculate correct part dimension for tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates
- Ensures that the proper tooling / fixtures required are ordered and available for production
- Makes mechanical and / or program adjustments to ensure parts are meeting quantity and quality requirements
- Suggests and / or collaborates on design improvements or alternative methods to manager and / or design engineers
- Notifies supervisor of any quality concerns or delays
- Verifies accuracy of engineering information for manufacturing
- Remains flexible to shift task per manufacturing’s needs
- Works within deadlines to ensure timely deliveries
- Problem solves and communicates effectively with work team
- Contributes ideas for continuous improvement of workflow and processes
- Follows all safety guidelines and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
